Hey, I like it :) I like whale music and mixing Dr. Who with it is something I hadn't thought of before. Nicely done.

It's not actually whale music, I'm afraid.

It was an attempt to re-create the theme using similar techniques to Delia - the bass line is made up of a single plucked string sample pitched, copied and filtered. The melody is made of a series of phrases from a sine wave generator.

However, when I was messing around with the final mix, I wasn't too happy with it so I decided to see what would happen if I shoved the whole thing through several gallons of reverb - and got the whale song effect which I liked for its spookiness.
