Skaro or Bust v2.0
I can't decide whether I prefer this version or the one with daleks... probably this version as the daleks were a touch distracting in the other version. The lead melody is very reminiscent of that on Keff McCulloch's theme, but with a bit more depth to it. It's nice to hear the track at a higher bitrate, it gives it noticeably more clarity and you start to notice all the subtle elements that you've put in. Very nice work!

I think this is a very brave attempt to do something different and complex. I like it although I think the conductor has a bit of a fit and looses control over his orchestra towards the end, which to my non expert ear seems a little jumbled.

A subtle but clear variation from the original! The original was well done, but the changes you've made make this mix clearer, crisper, and overall better! Great job!

Good lord, this is very well done.
It's got a really cool, modern feel to it.
Well done, Great Job!

Very James Bond-ish. Nice!

That was me, by the way.

I love the first half. The second half seems a bit... muttled. If you do a 3.0 version, I'd like to request more of the first half's style. I'd be willing to bet some chocolate chip cookies (biscuits to ya'll over the pond) that a 10 minute version of that would be very well received at the Gatecrasher!
Keep up the great work!
BTW, putting this through my soundcard's echo reverb set to Hall really brings this out.

Nice!

I think you've hit the mark. My recommendation is to present it to the DrWho production office (BBC Wales, Cardiff, Wales, UK) and offer it to them a cover of the theme for any future promotional material. Fantastic

Actually, I'll revise my comment, it's not James Bond-ish, it's Mission Impossible-ish. Once again, fantastic. It'd be great on a trailer on the new series.

Needs a flash animation of break-dancing daleks.
- Steampunk Battlemech (2005.04.21 16:24)
sounds very Dr Who circa 1991 (if only)

Very different, in a good way.

If we still did trance at our club this would go down really well as a "space out" tune.
Liking it!

Great remix. I'm making a Doctor Who parody called Popta Poo and I'm using your music as the theme tune. Hope you don't mind ;)

Incredible. Simply incredible. So incredible I have to keep writing incredible until I reach 50 words or more...

you and hardwire rule. I have an idea for some tunes. I think i would only let you or hardwire make it. Awesome
- kyle k-9 (2005.12.24 23:59)
Hmm To be honest i like both of the mixes although the daleks were a little distracting
- Ross (2006.01.15 11:28)

This sounds almost like the 40th Anniversary special thingywhatsit celebration on the Earthshock DVD - even though it sounds nothing like it. Somehow. Especially the bit where someone runs in a vineyard and little puffs of dirt shoot up under their feet.
